Kindra and JJ had a beautiful Catholic ceremony followed by an outdoor reception at the Bernardo Winery. Kindra and JJ are always laughing and joking around so we had a lot of fun capturing their day.

Maternity Shoot

Being a mom myself, I love to do maternity sessions. There is just so much excitement when photographing a couple expecting a new child! I photographed Heidi and Dan's wedding way back in 2002 and they recently called me up to take their maternity photos, even though they now live in Arizona. What a compliment! Heidi hasn't had her baby yet, but there is no doubt he will be a little sweetheart.

The Dana on Mission Bay

Alicia and Cassiano had a Friday evening wedding on Mission Bay right before sunset. The sky was stunning with lots of fluffy clouds and sunbeams!
The Dana is a great place for a wedding and reception, but what I like most about it is the huge suites they give brides to get ready in. Alicia's suite was located right above her ceremony site so she was able to keep an eye on how everything was progressing.

Brooke and Kip were married on Easter Sunday at La Valencia. As you can see from the photos it was really bright and sunny day. Perfect spring weather. Brooke and Kip were so relaxed and so in love it made photographing them very easy! It also helped that I got to work with my husband Todd (of www.christophertoddphoto.com) that day. We used to photograph weddings together for years before Todd started his own business when I was pregnant with our oldest son Connor. These are all of his photos below.
Todd was excited to photograph at La Valencia since it was the place his grandparents got married back in the 40's!

Catamaran Resort & Hotel

Amanda and Houshawn and a gorgeous wedding day at the Catamaran. The skies were blue and the weather was perfect. I really love photographing at the Catamaran and Mission Bay in general. Todd and I used to live there while going to SDSU and have such great memories of college life AND Todd's parents were married at the Catamaran back in the 60's!
