Ella and Owen

Owen and Ella at Seagrove in Del Mar, CA.
I have been busy with a lot of family and portrait shoots the past couple of weeks. Here is one of my favorites! I photographed Ella and Owen's mom when she was pregnant with Ella. I photographed Ella when she was one and when Owen was baptized. It is great to see such a beautiful and happy family grow!

Military Dream Wedding

Here's the scoop on the Military Dream Wedding. This will be a FREE wedding! Seriously, free. The ultimate wedding hookup for a military couple looking to get married in San Diego next January. If you know of anybody that might be interested in this, send them here! http://www.militarydreamwedding.com/

This whole concept was thought of and put together by Mick from http://www.elitebritishdj.net/ and his wife Julie, http://www.thebestweddingforyou.com/. They are an amazing couple and truly giving people. I was thrilled and honored when they called me to be the photographer for this dream wedding. I love to give back and support our troops, 100%! I jumped at the opportunity.

What we are looking for, is to find the most deserving military couple to have a complimentary wedding in San Diego, put on by some great, local wedding vendors. All these vendors will be donating various services and products as a way of giving back to those who put their life on the line to secure our freedom. We all appreciate the dedication, bravery, and integrity military men and women give as they defend our country. It is our way of saying thank you!

There is more info on the site, but here are the vendors involved.

Catering: Personal Touch Dining

Videography: Norma & John NR3 Productions

Chaircovers and Linens: Concepts Party Rentals

All these vendors are including their time, services, and products for FREE, a gift from us to the deserving couple.

So go tell your military friends and family, and help us find the perfect couple to give a Military Dream Wedding to!!!

Happy Anniversary Kimberly & David!

Happy anniversary to Kimberly and David. They were married at Ponte Winery last April 13th. As you can see from the photos it was a gorgeous day. Ponte Winery is a great place to have a wedding in the Temecula Wine Country. They have good food, a great staff and wine room or a tent for the reception.

Becky and Greg

Becky and Greg were married at Becky's parent's home in Ramona. It was typical March day. Cool and green, with threatening clouds floating by. Luckily we didn't feel any raindrops and Greg and Becky were able to enjoy the beautiful, outdoor day with their friends and family. After the wedding they were off to Thailand for their Honeymoon!

Happy Feet :)

For every wedding I photograph, I always make sure to get a shot of the bride's shoes. They are usually a gorgeous pair of heels that look amazing on her and also a pair that I wish I could wear. I hardly ever wear heels and it isn't because I am tall or because I am a mom, it is because they kill my feet! Recently though I have noticed a lot of my savvy brides sneaking these little miracles into their heels before they walk down the aisle.

They are those Dr. Scholl inserts that used to only be for men but now they have them for us girls and our heels! Have they have these around for awhile now? Maybe I am the last to know. Either way I am going to try them out next week! I'll let you all know how they go after a girls night out that requires the perfect, painful pair of heels.

Save the Date

Amy and Alberto aren't getting married until November but they have already sent out Save the dates. These cards are such a great way to let your guests know about your wedding plans and also let them in on your wedding website or blog. I designed these using Amy and Alberto's engagement photos. Save the dates are a great way to show them off!

Fun with friends

We took the boys over to our friends house for dinner last night for a night of good food and fun conversation. Right around sunset we walked to a flower field for some photos.

I love this shot of Connor and Delaney.
